Terms of Sale
Custom Orders
A non-refundable deposit of $300 for any custom corset must accompany the order. The balance of payment must be received before the order is shipped, and within ten days of email, written or telephone notification that the order is ready; otherwise storage fees may be charged.
Any revisions to the order must be made in writing prior to construction of the garment and may be subject to additional fees.
Back Orders
In the event that your item is out of stock, we will contact you and advise when the product will be available. We generally require 6-8 weeks for production of Classic corsets and 6-18 weeks for custom corsets.
Sales Tax
Canadian orders are subject to 5% GST plus any provincial sales tax. US and European orders are not subject to sales tax within Canada. You may be charged duty and taxes by your own country once the parcel has cleared customs.
Returns & Repairs
No refunds permitted, exchange or store credit only on non-custom merchandise within 14 days; goods must be in perfect/ unworn condition with all tags/ receipts. Items must be received in the same condition as sent. No refunds are available for custom orders. We offer a 14-day limited warranty to all merchandise. Lace Embrace Atelier is not responsible for a corset made to incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, or if the customer changes weight/ size after the order is placed. For repairs of custom orders, a return authorization number is required. Any repairs required after this period will be at the customer's expense.
Confidentially
All orders and customer information are completely confidential. We will not sell, rent or supply your name to others.
Payment
All orders must be prepaid in CDN funds by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, eTransfer or PayPal.

Shipping & Handling
All packages are sent by Canada Post insured mail. In stock items are shipped within 5 business days.
Rush Delivery
Please inquire for rush delivery fees.
Shipping Confirmation
The day after your order ships, we will email you a shipping confirmation with delivery date, tracking number (if applicable).
Interac e-Transfer
We now accept Interac E-transfers within Canada. The easiest way to make a payment via your bank account. This option is available in our online store and for other payments. To make a e-transfer, all you have to do is log in to your bank account and select either Interac e-Transfer, Transfers or Email Money transfer (depending on your bank). You can transfer money to [email protected] . If you make use of this option in our online shop, a security answer will be given. If you use this option to make any other payment, please provide us with your security answer.
Credit Card Payments
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. To pay by credit card, you can use either PayPal or select the credit card payment feature in the shop at the checkout. Your credit card details will be send to us via a secure internet connection and will be destroyed after we have received your payment. We don’t store your credit card details on our server. In our retail store you can use your credit card to make payments.
PayPal
We accept PayPal for all your online purchases in our shop and for custom order deposits. If you need to make a quick payment, you can make use of the form below. If you enter an amount, your payment will be processed via a secure internet connection. You can also pay by credit card this way.
