Dolly Parton as Muse
Dolly Parton, whose petite, hour-glass figure is as famed as her songwriting and singing, also has a Lace Embrace corset. Dolly was instrumental in sparking Melanie’s life-long passion. When Melanie was only eight, she watched The Littlest Whorehouse in Texas starring Dolly Parton. Upon hearing Dolly Parton wore corsets to achieve her remarkable figure, Melanie became entranced with the corset which blossomed into a shining career. When Melanie was lucky enough to meet Dolly in person, she was able to confirm that Dolly does indeed love corsets. It was very exciting to design and present Dolly with her very own Lace Embrace corset!
