Comfort Corsets

Comfort corsets are where most people should start: gentle shaping, easy daily wear, and that “supported and held” feeling without going full waist-training intensity.

At Lace Embrace Atelier, comfort has always been the point. Our corsets are designed to integrate into real life: sitting at a desk, running errands, styling under or over clothing. Made with expert fit support so you don’t have to guess your way through it.

What a comfort corset does
  • Gives gentle shaping and waist definition
  • Offers a supported, held feeling (especially for posture awareness)
  • Helps clothing fit more smoothly and intentionally
Your first corset checklist (so you don’t overthink it)

Take one key measurement

Your natural waist (where you bend side to side).

Aim for comfort first

You’re learning how a corset feels on your body. Don't lace too tight, be gentle on your body.

Lacing gap matters

The corset should be laced evenly top to bottom, with even tension on the laces.

quick answers before you buy

Will it hurt?

No, the corset will feel like a gentle, supportive hug.

What size should I order if I’m between sizes?

Your corset should be 5-6 inches smaller than your natural waist. Our elastic Myrtle Girdle should be ordered 7-8 inches smaller than your natural waist.

Can I sit / drive / work?

Yes, you will sit and stand with better posture and more energy, feeling amazing back support.

When driving set your seat in the upright position.

What do I wear underneath?

A thin cotton tank top is recommended for comfort, to absorb body oils, and to maintain your corset.

What if it doesn’t fit? Can I exchange?

We are happy to meet with you online or in person to ensure that you choose an appropriate style and size.

We can also alter your corsets after purchase! As your body changes, so can your corset.
