Shipping policy

International Orders

We try our best to understand the customs requirements for various countries. However, we cannot guarantee that duties will not be added to your order, or that customs agents will permit the entry of your order. No refunds are possible for merchandise retained at your international border.

Shipping and Handling

All packages are sent by Canada Post or third party insured mail services. In-stock items are shipped within 5 business days. Orders placed after 5pm PST on Fridays will typically be shipped out the following Tuesday, unless it coincides with a public holiday.) In Canada, post offices and package delivery companies are closed over the weekend and the mail does not move on these days. Please plan accordingly when placing orders to insure your packages can be shipped as soon as possible if you need your order delivered before a deadline. 

Rush Delivery

Please inquire for rush delivery fees, and let us know as soon as possible if you require a package by a specific date. 

Shipping Confirmation

The day after your order ships, we will email you a shipping confirmation with delivery date, tracking number (if applicable), estimated time of arrival and the total order amount.

Back Orders

In the event that your item is out of stock, we will contact you and advise when the product will be available. We generally require 4-6 weeks for production of classic corsets and 8-14 weeks for custom corsets, not including shipping times. Rush orders are possible, please enquire for rush order fees. 

Shipping to a Different Address

We will be happy to send your item to a different address from your billing address. However, for the security of our customers and to deter fraudulent orders, Lace Embrace Atelier requires signed authorization (submitted by pdf) from the cardholder to ship to an alternate address. This policy is required and endorsed by Visa to prevent fraudulent orders and protect the cardholder.

A note on Tariffs: Canadian and international customers do not have to pay any tariffs on our corsets. As per current regulations, US customers only pay a sales tax over $800, but so far we have yet to see this applied in practice.
