Born to Run Cropped Pixie Duster - by Market of Stars

Description

"All good things are wild and free!

Created to celebrate the unbridled spirit of adventure, Born to Run blends vintage-washed, heritage prints with the untamed energy of two rearing racehorses by British painter George Stubbs. The antique banners, etched with mottos of rebellion like “Don’t Fence Me In”, are our spirited nod to the wild west and the open road. The beautiful, airy backdrop behind the horses is actually a scenic lithograph from the 1897 World’s Fair, and the faded florals and golden wheat were taken from an 1800’s farmers diploma. The pen-and-ink stars and upturned horseshoe are also antique drawings from the same era. And as a final, playful touch, we added a prancing mother horse and foal — a symbol of unbound freedom and joy. The whole design is trimmed in a washed heritage plaid, reminiscent of sun-faded chambray and days at home on the range :) "
