Serpentine Corset Dress

Description

The List Price is for the DEPOSIT ONLY! Pricing will be determined by your choice of materials and customizations.

Pricing for the Serpentine Corset Dress starts at $1495

Enjoy the benefits of a fully corseted dress with this unique Lace Embrace pattern!

Once Melanie had perfected the pattern of the Pearl Heart corset, the next step was using it as the inspiration for a fantastic corset dress! The Serpentine dress was born, and it has been used as inspiration for bridal gowns, historical costuming and even festival wear!

Featuring the soft, sweetheart plunge of the Pearl corset as the bodice of the dress, keeping the skirt of the dress flowing and cut to the length you desire. As the corset is constructed into the same piece of fabric as the rest of the dress, it remains seamless where the corset boning ends and is not made up of two separate pieces. We have modified the length to our clients’ needs in the past, and are happy to discuss your preferences.

Fabric options include satin, duchess silk, peau de soie, cotton sateen, velvet, coutil and lambs leather. Trims can be added at the hem or ruffled down the back. We hope our photos give you inspiration.

As there is a lot of work that goes into a corset dress, we require a larger minimum deposit to get started. For brides, we suggest booking at least 6 months beforehand – the more time we have, the better, as we are always working on other orders in the sewing studio.
